Traveling by Air

Airport transfers
Skybus Super Shuttle is the official transit link between Melbourne Airport and the central business district. It departs every 15 minutes from Southern Cross station, a five-minute walk from the Centre.

Trams:
• Route 96 - St Kilda to East Brunswick
• Route 109 - Port Melbourne to Box Hill
• Route 112 - West Preston to St Kilda
Trains
Southern Cross and Flinders Street stations are both a short stroll from the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. These stations are major hubs for suburban, regional and interstate rail services. Directions and ticketing information is available from Centre staff.

The Australian Dollar (AUD) is the local currency. One U.S. dollar is equal to about 1.19 AUD.
Embassy Letter - The deadline to request embassy letters is 1 January 2010. Requests received after this date will not be processed.

- To request an Embassy Letter from PMI Global Congress 2010—Asia Pacific, attendees must be registered and paid in full for the congress.
- Following registration and payment, attendees will receive a confirmation letter from PMI with information about requesting a letter of invitation. You will be asked to provide your PIN from your registration confirmation letter.
- Attendees will be asked to submit the information below with their request for an Embassy Letter.
- Following receipt of the request for an Embassy Letter, and the associated information, PMI will issue the letter of invitation.
- If you have questions about the Embassy Letter you may contact Congress_Embassy_Letter@pmi.org.
Information Required for Embassy Letter
- Full name of person registered (last name as it appears in the passport / first and middle names in full)
- Conference title, dates and location
- Passport nationality
- Passport number
- Passport expiry date
- Full personal address / phone / fax /e-mail
- Full address of the Embassy, High Commission or Consular Office to which the letter must be addressed
- Purpose of attending this PMI event, including whether you/they are a committee member, speaker or presenter
- Any other unique information required by the embassy (for example, total costs of event, name of in-country sponsor, etc.)
- E-mail address where the requestor would like this letter sent.
