- Develop a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) in order to better understand how to define project deliverables to control what is or is not included in the project scope.
- Develop a Project Schedule and calculate the Total Float to create a baseline which will be used to ensure timely completion of the project.
- Calculate Earned Value Metrics to determine project performance compared against established Project Planned Values and Actual Costs.
- Develop a Project Organizational Chart to understand project reporting relationships and how project decisions will be made.
- Develop a Responsibility Assignment Matrix (RAM) to ensure project deliverables will be accomplished.
- Develop a Project Team Roles and Responsibility Profile to understand the requirements for acquiring project team members with the necessary skills and experiences.
- Develop a Communications Plan that identifies the information necessary to be sent and received by project stakeholders and illustrates what project information is to be distributed, to whom and with what frequency.
- Develop a Risk Mitigation Strategy after identifying project risk events and assessing the probability of occurrence and their impact.
- Review and present a case simulated Project Charter to the Stakeholder Governance Team for approval to proceed to the Project Planning Phase.
- Review and present a case simulated Integrated Project Plan to the Stakeholder Governance Team for approval to proceed to the Project Execution Phase.
- Review, analyze and present case simulated Performance Reports to provide a project status update the Stakeholder Governance Team regarding project progress during the Project Execution and Controlling Phases.
