October is a fantastic time to vacation in Orlando, as it is still quite warm, but without the high humidity common during June-August. The rainy season in Orlando is usually over by the beginning of October. The normal high temperature is 84F/29C and a normal low of 75F/24C.

Crowds at the theme parks are also at a decent level, as children have returned to school. The theme parks also have a lot of fun things going on in October, such as Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom (great for kids) and Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando (great for teens and adults).
