Earn PDUs at PMI Global Congress

If you hold the PMP®, PgMP®, PfMPTH, PMI-ACP®, PMI-SP®, PMI-RMP® or PMI-PBA® credentials, review this information to see how you can earn professional development units toward maintaining your PMI credential(s) at this event.

Maintain Your Credential

PMI’s Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR) programme supports the ongoing professional development of PMI credential holders. To meet the requirements of the CCR programme, you must participate in activities that earn you professional development units (PDUs). PDUs are measuring units that quantify approved learning and professional development activities.

To be eligible for PDUs, the activity must be related to project management topics that are substantially consistent with the knowledge areas and processes outlined in A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide).

Many activities, seminars and presentations held at or in conjunction with PMI's global congress qualify for PDUs. These include:

Your badge will be scanned to record PDUs for most eligible activities. Please allow four weeks after the event to verify that your PDUs have been recorded.
